The stovepipe pricing is a bit baffling. You can get a four pack of >19oz cans of high ABV IPAs for only $8-12.

A greater 'incentive' to purchase beer in the stovepipe format?

    Cheers!

P.S. I have only seen stovepipe cans sold as singles but maybe I need to look harder!?!

There's a lot of bundling of 2 by the nearest Safeway. Stone IPA Stovepipes are often 2 for $6. Other offerings range up to 2 for $8.

Last time I looked more carefully I believe Bud Lite Stovepipes were the same price as Stone IPA. Tough choice that!

I didn’t mean they were sold as four packs, just that the pricing of each single means if you buy four stovepipes of …whichever or mix and match it would be cheaper than usual four pack pricing.

Shhhhh! Don’t let the cat out of the bag or else they’ll raise the price on stovepipes.

I am seeing more and more Stovepipes on the shelves. Most not that I want to purchase but I agree that Bells Two Hearted is the best. I haven't found Stone IPA, but a close second and I'm sure it exists somewhere. Overall, it's too much and I probably wouldn't buy them very often. I'm a fan of sticking to the 12/16 oz cans.

I got a Founders Mortal Bloom stovepipe for only 2.79 and that seems rather cheap and good value. By contrast, a Captain's Daughter stovepipe is 4.99 and that seems overpriced.

Sierra Nevada's Big Little Thing would be my go to (sometimes Atomic Torpedo). Someone mentioned Firestone Walkers Hoopnosis earlier, if I see that reasonably fresh I go for that. Deschutes Squeezy rider used to be available, but unfortunately I don't see it around anymore.

Wicked Weed's 'Freak Of Nature' is currently tickling my stovepipe IPA fancy. Stovepipes are the only way I've found it in Connecticut. Also, Dogfish Head's 90 Minute IPA is always a solid choice i stovepipes. I love the artwork on both of those beers.

I can get 4 Sip of Sunshine stovepipes for 3 cents less than the price of the 16 oz. 4 packs at my local Wegmans.

SN Pale Ale would be a regular stovepipe if I could find them more regularly.
Every time I visit Ohio I pick up these as it's dynamite beer. Rhinegeist Truth. An excellent stovepipe.

    Yes it is.

I have no personal experience drinking the box beers from Forest & Main but a number of BAs have posted about it and they seem to enjoy drinking them.

    Cheers!

Going back to Fiddlehead. The only format I've seen their Imperial IPA is in 19.2 ounce. It is an OUTSTANDING beer, and I'm not seeing any info about it or other can volumes on their site atm. A must grab for me when I see it reasonably fresh

I'd probably say Lagunitas IPA, Stone IPA, or Zombie Dust (yeah, I know, APA, blah, blah, blah). That being said, the only stovepipe I ever bought was Zombie Ice. I'd been looking for it and finally found a stovepipe of it in a gas station for $3.29. I had a small pour of it with my dinner and dumped the rest, not because I didn't like it but because it's just too much and you can't recap it. I'd much rather have a flight of four 5-ounce pours if I'm going to drink 19.2 ounces of beer.

On the plus side, it wasn't my most expensive tick ever. By far.
