Let's just say I'm not looking forward to the next great style database reset. Those first three style quests really put a hurtin' on the ol' pocketbook. :grinning:

...just purchased and knocked back some IIPA / DIPA stovepipes from Melvin and Great Divide...

...Melvin '2/4' had no date but was a fantastic sensory experience...the Great Divide 'Hercules', canned late January of this year, also hit the spot nearly nine months later...

I never cared about IPA dates as much as others on here and once had a 10 month old KRBC IPA that was one of the best i have ever had. Didn't notice the date until i finished it

I don't go for ipas in stovepipes often. But I do grab a local stout. 4.79 for 19.2 oz of imperial stout? Yes please!

I will have to pay attention when I go down to the store on Dickson Street. You are allowed to walk around with booze on the street down there, an Arkansas rarity. The main ones I remember SN Torpedo & Lags IPA, not a ton of variety

Is there still a "Hop Stoopid"?

In my barn there are many stovepipes (19.2 oz). Dale's, Dogfish Head 60, Sierra Nevada, various Voodoos, etc. Personal fave is Manhattan Project Half Life. A nice hazy. Makes you go "Ahhhh". And I sell so much of them they are always fresh from the brewery (less than 20 miles from my store). Also, I know that my house is exactly 19.2 oz from my store.............

No, that's why they should give it back to us. In stovepipe format.

I actually stopped off at the Lagunitas Brewery a few weeks ago for lunch. The beer menu was extensive. I did not see Hop Stoopid. I did see Dark Swam which gave me pause but it was the middle of the day and it was warm so I opted for Little Sumpin' Sumpin' which is always tasty.

Plan A was Henhouse which is right across the street but the food truck hadn't arrived so no lunch option.

I don't know if we're including double IPAs here but if so, Drake's Denogginizer is a good stove pipe. Good for catching a buzz and reminiscing about how IPA tasted in the 90s.
