Ah, gotcha. I thought you meant 'pop' in general, as opposed to pop music. Speaking of 'Cali' and 'pop', l'm about to 'pop' a Lupulin River (shouldn't be had to find in SF area), maybe my favorite 'Cali' beer right now..Word2BigBIrd, find this whenever you are here and be happy!

 

An easy way to tell if someone isn't from California is if they call it "Cali." Anyone who grew up here won't call it that. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just the way it is.

 

A lot of us that grew up elsewhere but have still lived here a while would never call it that, either.

 

As sage said, a lot don't get posted until a week prior but also I recall last year they charged to post an event on the website so some places just posted on their personal websites or various other social media outlets

 

You did miss one. That well-known humorist, fashion diva and popster Miley Cyrus was in a blockbuster called 'LOL' that had some kind of plot element about rock.

CL is good. But I'm really digging Alesmith Evil Dead Red at $5.5. Again Smog's bottle pricing is higher than average IMO. But CL is a good imp red.

Seven Grand is actually gonna be doing a pretty cool flight. They'll have four or five BA beers made solely for this event. The flight consists of the beers and the whiskey from the barrel that each beer was brewed in.

 

I grew up in Cali, outside of Chico (proud land of "hella" and the correct way to pronounce almond), lived in San Diego for a while, now have lived in the Bay Area for a while. No problems calling it Cali. Don't take words so seriously...
