    Yo-

For your dollar, whats the best Twin Cities growler?

My vote goes for Masala Mama and TH Oatmeal stout.

I would go with your vote, but if you want to expand 20 ish miles, you get all the growler fills at Nova's. Also, dont sleep on Lift Bridge, their starting to put out some fantastic beers and are making them available for growler fills.

I cant justify the price 95% of the time on growlers, but I buy one every couple months from the Nova. Lucette Easy Rider for 8 bucks was a winner as of late.

$9 fills of Masala Mama is a killer growler deal for a killer beer.

Got a $8.99 fill of Alpha King there a few weeks back, pretty easy to justify.

The year of beer at Vine Park is fun. 100 bucks gets you twelve growler fills. Their India Ink black IPA is killer.

its actually 7.99. Same price for OB Pale Ale, Old Chub.

I havent bought a growler from Town Hall in years, but I thought Masalla was ten bucks for a refill, 14 for a new one?

Love Masala Mama, but my top five growlers would go like this:
    1. Steel Toe Size 7, less bitter with more hop flavor and aroma than MM
    2. Barley John's Little Barley Bitter, goes great with an old eight porter warming up (so get both)
    3. Town Hall Black h2o, a close second in the stout catagory would be Great Waters Blackwatch
    4. Great Waters Mr. Smooth, I love dark milds
    5. Harriet West Side Belgian IPA, love this beer and nothing else to really compare it to.

Masala Mama would probably fall #2 but I was trying to mix up the styles a bit.

Be careful with lift bridge growlers, i bought a growler of hop prop last summer and mnbearsfan and myself cracked it the same night and it was completely flat.
