Considering that Deschutes is distributed to over half the states in the Continental US, I'd say this list is pretty much a clickbait joke.

CO is spot on. Casey has a small but fanatical fanbase. Kind of funny that the beer they list is Seasons Past. That's a borderline white whale around here.

I am not sure if this has been said yet or not but Blind Tiger in Topeka, Kansas. I think they have won at least 3 gold medals at GABF, their Kolsch, Basil and County Seat Wheat, have all won gold, as well as several silver and bronze. They also won the World Beer Cup in 2014 for large brewpub. Yet, because they don't specialize in BA beers, they generally fly under the radar.

Surprised they didn't select this little Golden, CO brewery named Coolers.

For PA it's got to be Forest & Main. They make some of the best Saison/Farmhouse beers I've had aside from places like Casey, Hill Farmstead, Side Project, Logsdon, etc.

I can't argue with the New York pick too much, except that Other Half hasn't really proven they are capable of doing a great beer that isn't a hoppy one. Their other beers have ranged from okay to pretty good. Personally I would have picked Rushing Duck, which packages their beer much less than does Other Half, and excels at many styles, including hoppy beers as good as Other Half. Hell, they even made an onion beer recently in which they used real onions, since they are located in black dirt onion country, and it was delicious.

As far as Minnesota goes, I would say either Lift Bridge or Brau Brothers.

Barley John's really impressed me last time I was up that way ...

With Indeed, Bent Paddle, Bauhaus ... it's actually hard to pick the best "unknown" MN brewery.

I agree on the Other Half criticism - hoppy only breweries bore me - and I wouldn't call them unknown at this point.
I really like the few beers I've had from Rushing Duck - just need to find more or finally visit. Of course I would say Barrier is (one of) the best unknown breweries in NY. Also excelling in all styles.

I love lists...but this one ain't that great, I mean best unknown brewery in Utah is Uinta? That's the only brewery in Utah that I know of. I'm surprised this isn't a "Best Unknown Brewery in your state: thread on this forum. My vote for SC would be Southern Barrel

    Silly list.
Also they didn't even bother to list one of Alewerks actual (popular?) beers.
