Best Unknown Breweries in Each State

    I haven't had Monocacy but I have heard good things. Stillwater Artisanal Ales flies under the radar in this state as well. They make some great Belgium style ales

    Just went to Whalers in Wakefield, RI this past weekend. It was pretty good. Decent beers in a warehouse-like setting. Kind of hipster-ish but it was a good time.

    Monocacy Brewing in Frederick, MD is making some good stuff. Their Riot Rye is a very solid hoppy beer and they do a very solid coffee imperial stout - Brewtus - at the outstanding price point of $7.99/4 pack. Not necessarily world class, but tasty and drinkable.
    Brewer's Art also makes the best and most creative Belgian style beers in MD. Stillwater gets a little hype, but their brews are way overpriced and not that great IMO.

    I like Fort George, but I like Caldera a little more because I have been to the brewery. Need to try Oakshire.
