Howdy all. I was at Harriet Brewing last Friday and had a Sooner or Later Belgian style blonde, and I realized I don't drink Belgian styles nearly enough. One reason is I'm on a budget, and really good Belgians tend to be spendy. I picked up a 12 pack of Schell's Snowstorm for $12. What are some other good buys on Belgian styles?

In the metro, Boom Island does some pretty good solid Belgians. If you are able to get across the river to Wisconsin, I'm always partial to Une Annee out of Chicago. They put out some simple, solid Belgians that I always find quite tasty!

Stillwater beers and Boulevard Tank 7 four packs are solid around $10/four pack.

Unibroue beers are a great value. You could also do a whole lot worse than the New Belgium Tripel, and it's widely available and affordable.

The best quad to me (for taste and value) will always be St. Bernarus Abt 12

Surdyk's does sales on Belgians from time to time. That is a good time to pounce. Obviously not cheap by many standards, but god I love Rochefort 10

Tallgrass Velvet Rooster is an incredible bargain on a Belgian Tripel style. It may not be 100% in line but it's a great beer and only a couple bucks a 16oz can.

You can't go wrong with anything from Rodenbach. Great beers at reasonable prices.

And Unibroue beers have been on sale for $6.99 a 750ml lately. La Fin Du Monde is a very good value at that price.
