I'm planning on buying a variety pack this weekend for a friends birthday as I don't want to spend too much money buying 7 or 8 22oz bottles. I've seen there are some options available, the two options that caught my attention are Sam Adams Summer Variety Pack and Goose Island Variety Pack. I know these are not the best out there but that's what I can get here in El Centro CA or the Imperial Valley Area. So, which of these two packs you think is the best generally? Or do you know of better options available here?

Did you know that Firestone Walker used to have a 12-Variety Pack.

    3- Union Jack
    3- Double Barrel Ale
    3- 31 Pale
    3- Seasonal (Velvet Merlin/Solace)

    anybody seen these anymore?

If those were the only options, I would suggest buying 2 different six packs of something you love.

Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp 12 packs just came out. They're all hop-forward brews and not bad considering the other options.

I would just get a total wine gift card and for the amount you were going to spend and let them decide
