I enjoyed reading about different years of Dark Lords and wondering about Abyss, currently have a trade in the works for '11.

We did a full vertical not too long ago, and the general consensus was (from best to worst): 2008, 2007, 2010, 2006, 2009 (yes, there's some that aren't infected), 2011. That said, they're all really, really good.

2006 or 2008 are the best, depending on how they are stored. 2008 is my current favorite because I haven't had '06 in quite some time.

The 10 has been my favorite, too. I really didn't like the early revisions all that much. Too dry and roasty for my tastes. Starting with maybe around 2009 they got a bit rounder.

2008. From fresh to current, this one has been a true gem. Wish I had about 44 more.

2008 and 2010 were my favorites and although I enjoyed the 2011 it seemed pretty different than the others fresh.

Really though, outside of the infected 09's they're all fantastic.

I have had '08-'11 (perks with having family in Portland) and IMO '08 was the best with '09 being the worse (mainly due to infection) take the '09 issue out of the equation and it seems to me it has gone down hill every year. I use to get my family to buy it by the case, but now i just ask for 2-3 bottles.

Agree that 2008 was my favorite, followed closely by 2010. I have not had 2006 to say where that vintage stands.
