    Paulaner and Ayinger are also rock solid.

    Hacker-Pschorr for Dunkelweizen.

    For Weizenbocks- Ayinger (classic textbook version), Aventinus (super complex outlier) and Vitus!!! (pure deliciousness).

    For there to be a best wheat beer there would actually have to be a good wheat beer, which I'm not convinced exists.

    I have never really thought about which wheat brew is my personal favorite, but I really enjoy Sierra Nevada Kellerweis.

    Ayinger Ur-Weiss and Schneider Weiss for standard or amber wheat beers.
    Weihenstephaner Vitus is a fantastic pale weizenbock, as is Gutmann, and Aventinus is a great dark weizenbock.
    There are plenty of other good ones but these are some of my favorites
