Best year around shelf stouts.

    Kalamazoo is my favorite stout period. With stouts like that I have no use for fat arse imperial stouts. Total game changer for me last year when it arrived to NY

    half of the beers mentioned here are seasonals, good job guys.

    can't go wrong with bell's kalamazoo stout.

    Clown Shoes Vampire Slayer is my favorite that is commonly available here. Victory Storm King and Magic Hat Heart of Darkness are good for a six pack of 12 oz format. Sometimes you can go with an Imperial, sometimes you need something a little lighter.

    Seasonality is not as hard to overcome as distribution IMO. I.E. Bell's Kalamazoo Stout is not available in many location at ANY point during the year. Obviously the was to overcome this will be to trade, and if you are trading for out-of-area beer you can easily trade of out-of-season beer. Problem solved and we all win!

    Find a PA trader to send you some Full Pint Night Of The Living Stout. You'll see mixed opinions on BA, but if you love roastiness and hoppiness, you'll rarely find better.

    Heresy has such a low score for a reason. It's light for a stout and very unbalanced. Hard to figure how anyone likes it really with such an off taste. I gave it another go not too long ago and still the same. It doesn't hold up to other BAs at all in my opinion and I've tried many.
