Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout is one that is seriously underrated. Check that one out

No that's the brew itself. Every time I've had it tasted like ass, unless there's been that many infected bottles throughout the years, which I doubt. It made the Dragons Milk I followed it with taste like BCBS. Not sure how people stand behind heresy.

My top 3 favorites that are readily available in my area are:
    Old Rasputin
    Allagash Black
    Ten FIDY
Honorable mention- Imperial Stout Trooper. Brewed in my state but not easily obtainable.

    My top:

    Victory Storm King
    Old Rasputin
    Ten FIDY
    Bell's Expedition
    Yeti
    St Ambroise RIS

All improve with 6months to 1 year in the cellar.

But Old Rasputin fresh is a whole different beer!

Without reading through the pages so far, I'm sure these have been covered, but Old Raspy, Sam Smith Imperial, and Yeti are always around and very good.

My 'go-to' is Fort George's Cavatica Stout. But Old Rasputin, TenFidy and Ninkasi's Oatis are all solid choices.
