I will be in the Bethlehem area next week for business. I've looked through the forum and found some good info but will have limited time.

What would be the 2 or 3 go to beer spots in the area?

    Thanks as always!

Funk Brewing is in Emmaus, which you may not find if searching under Bethlehem, but it's nearby.

If you're looking for bottle shops, we were in Bethlehem two weekends ago and went to Abe's. Decent selection and pricing, nothing mind blowing. Wanted to check out Cork and Cage, but it didn't align with our schedule.

If you're into mead I cant recommend Colony enough. Great atmosphere. Hijinx is also attached. Another option is Funk Brewing.

I think it depends what you're looking for. The breweries listed above are good choices, but also depends where you're coming from.
    These would be my 3:

    1. The Mint - gastrobup in Bethlehem with a great taplist and food, and on BeerMenus. Bonus - Abe's is next door so you can stop by there without getting in your car.

    2. Strange Brew - dive bar with many rotating taps, also on BeerMenus. Wings are good and it's not that far from Hijinx and...

    3. Cork & Cage/Grain - bottle shop & restaurant (same owners) in downtown Allentown, full bottle & tap list on Untappd & BeerMenus. A little pricier than the other joints to cover the downtown rent, but convenient and great selection (and knowledgeable staff)

Just my 2 cents, hope it helps!

If you plan on visiting Abe's, sign up for his email list. You'll hear about beers that arent on the shelf that you can ask for. Its all very silly, but there is another level to the game.

Yergey just opened in Emmaus as well, could check them out. Weyerbacher tasting room is in nearby Easton. Then Freebridge is over on the NJ side of Easton/Phillipsburg, good bottle and tap (for growlers) list.
