Anyone know a source for short lengths of Bevlex 204 Tubing? It's the fat red gas line tubing that has an inner clear tube with a 5/16" ID. I like it especially because it fits tightly on a CO2 regulator barb without needing a worm clamp. I can find 100 ft lengths, but I only need a few feet. TIA!
...or if not that particular tubing, how about anything that's sturdy and fits tightly over a 5/16" barb without needing a clamp? @billandsuz
BM me your address and we can ship some out. We keep a box of short lengths and that box is over capacity, so we would be more than happy to send it your way. It is actually beverage tubing, old school style. Great in the cold room. Stays flexible. Only has a 40 psi rating(?) and it really does not like heat. But for gas it is the best imo. Cheers
Sorry, I got the 204 from somewhere in shorter segments, and searched my emails for Bevlex and saw an ad for Ritebrew. Leapt to the wrong conclusion. I now remember getting it from here: https://www.farmhousebrewingsupply.com/red-gas-hose-5-16/ The website does not say bevlex 204, but that is what it says on my tubes. Mind you, it would have been over 3 years ago that I ordered this.
@pweis909 Yep, that looks like it! @billandsuz Thanks for the very generous offer. I will take you up on it if the other lead doesn't pan out, otherwise I don't want to inconvenience you. Thanks to you both!
Anytime. We are all advocating for beer. I think we are paying $0.40 per foot for 100' quantities, plus shipping. So the price seems pretty reasonable at $0.79 retail in 1' increments. Cheers.
