So there have been rumours floating around for a while but its been confirmed they are moving into City Centre this fall from their Hintinburg haunts. Curious how much extra capacity they will have and what else they will experiement with.
As someone who moved out of Mechanicsville, I certainly welcome the parking they now have available. Should make for easy stops!
The move has been a long time coming for BTP. I guess the biggest hold up was waiting for a small change in city zoning to allow for a brewery in City Center. It's going to be a huge increase in space (2k to 8k sq ft) and production (3.5 bbl to a 15 bbl system). Source
Ya was talking to them this weekend and it sounds like they will have 3 systems for brewing - the two they currently have plus the new one. Older ones will be used for more R&D and experimentation - they want to keep up the pace of new beers and fun stuff.
Does anyone have an update on this move? Has it been finalized? Just curious as the City Center location would be much more accessible!
