    We lost Heritage, but we gained Kitchissippi, Mill St, Broadheads, Big Rig. Ottawa is getting some quality places to quaff. About time.

    Man, I really hope one day Niagara college produces a student who opens a Brewery in Hamilton. It's such a tragedy to live in a city of over a half million and not have a single brewery. Not even a discount brewery.

    Speaking of Niagara College: Last summer I was there and took the tour. There were samplings of their First Draft beers at the end, and had bottles and growlers for sale. An excellent operation and teaching venue. The beer.... well, meh.
    Apparently the beer grads have no problems finding jobs, or they have a good leg up on starting their own brewpub. More power to 'em.
