I have 6 mags brewed in 2008/09 and bottled in 2009/10. They are all different, spirt, bourbon, merlot, pinot, oak, and cab. I was curious how long theses will last (stored correctly). I purchased these about 5 months ago from a neighbor. I have read through most posts regarding the style of Biere de Garde and its not quite clear.

BFM sours age really well. I pretty much always have a bottle of Bon Chien aging, and 4-5 years down the line its still tasting great. Ive had a 2 year old bottle of grand cru that was delicious, but it also depends on how they were aged before you bought them.

Thanks for the reply, so they will last another 3-5 years? I would only open them on rare occasions as they will take few beer geeks and myself to finish.

I don't see why not, but I also haven't had any of their beers older than that so if you like how they're tasting now I might drink them sooner rather than later.
