What's up guys. I am looking to start a Fantasy Football BIF soon but have never done one before and was wondering if anyone had any advice to make things run smoothly. I have read a couple post similar to what Im going to do so I kinda have the amount of beer and boxes figured out but I was wondering, when the season is over and the winners are declared how do you go about deciding wich boxes go where? Do you assign people their targets then and just try and make sure they are not in the same distribution area so they don't receive beer they could just go out and buy? Here's kind of the idea I had so let me know what you think. ESPN Fantasy Football BIF On line draft 10 Teams (standard format) want to keep it small for my first run at a BIF 100oz minimum ( 1 BA beer and 1 Beer from a small brewery that doesn't see much distribution -BA beer that comes from small brewery can count as both ) 1st place gets 4 boxes 2nd place gets 3 boxes 3rd place gets 2 boxes 4th place gets 1box Boxes to be sent out within 1 week after the Champion is crowned so how does this sound? looking forward to feed back or thread shits. Cheers
I've only been one FFL BIF but here is my 2 cents: with only 10 people, paying out top 4 seems a bit much. Even in the 12 team league I was in, we only shipped to top 3. and the winners determined what box/bottle they wanted. Everyone ante'd the main beer before the season started so we had a list. Winner picked 2 bottles, second picked 2 bottles, third picked two bottles, winner picked two more, second picked two more, winner picked last two. (6-4-2 split between 1-2-3)
yeah I was thinking of only paying out the top 3 but was tossing the idea of paying top 4 since the playoff round consist of 4 teams. Def something i'll keep in mind
