BIF: Seniors Sipping Suds

A few style preferences and overall wealth of beer knowledge from my target knocked out a few bottles I wanted to send. However I've got a pretty good amount of stuff already and should finish up my shopping this weekend. I should be able to ship on Monday to a state that generally has cooler temps than Texas.

Picked up a few more wants for my target, especially one he/she just added within the last month. Shipping to a state that borders a large body of water. Cheers~

 

Only one week left to ship! I think I'm going to pack stuff up tonight. Forgot that I needed to get my freshman beer, so will likely get that then ship over the weekend.

Box will be headed East.

 

will be unable to buy my "freshman beer" as it is no longer made - Petes Wicked Ale - so will have to come up with something else...

 

Petes! Drank it when I was in college on the rare occasion I could afford it. At the time it was the "expensive, exotic treat" alternative to shithouse Meister Brau and Natty Light.

 

So, I've got my boxes packed up. They will be on their way tomorrow or Tuesday. They are filled with several wants along with several extras that I enjoy and a few others that I think my target will like according to his profile. They are not headed to a city that is not a part of the largest metro area within my target's state.

Just dropped off at fedex. Hope my target is thirsty. Surprisingly its warmer in my targets city right now than it is here in Austin. 14 degrees warmer to be exact.

 

hmmm, central VA is currently 14 warmer than Austin right now...

 

If you get a box from Texas on your doorstep be sure to use proper lifting technique.

 

Just secured a couple more gems Saturday at our annual golf tournament, the 6th annual Sake Dave Invitational. Was in a group with 2 other BA's and we drank Sculpin, Dales, All Day IPA and Caldera IPA while the other 40+ jokers had their BMC. Great day and finally feeling close to normal

Still need to grab a few more and will be shipping end of week to a city that was first established in the late 1700's as a trading post. Cheers ~

 

I'm still trying to track down a couple of bottles, but on track to ship by the end of the week. This will be the largest box/set of boxes I've ever sent out on top of traveling the farthest distance. Two of the bottles are from a brewery that according to google maps would take my target 50 hours to drive to or 977 hours to walk to (both are in the continental US).

 

Hmmmm... Those are the exact numbers from my house to eastern Vermont...

 

Trying to find some decent local flavor to add to the box before I pack it up and ship it out.

The city to which I'm shipping is southwest of my current location--but it's either much further south than west or vice versa.
