Greetings, I have done probably a little more than 20 trades or so now and just from being around the trading community I understand that a BIF (Beer it Forward), is group trading where people sign up and send and get sent random boxes based on whatever criteria (box weight, styles, rarity etc.). But what the hell is LIF, HIF, GIF? How does that stuff work and how do I get started? thanks and cheers!
Here is some good information: http://alewatcher.blogspot.com/2010/11/new-trader-tips.html#What are BIFs and how do they work?
LIF - Lottery it Forward, someone sets up a contest and gives away beer. Usually with the promise that the winner do it themselves later. I don't actually know the others, GIF might be "glass it forward", but I've always seen that as "chalice it forward". HIF I have no idea, where have you seen it? Regardless, with any of these you just see the thread and do the thing, there's no secret to it.
