I think we're looking for 65 not 44... But maybe I'm feeling this latest baptist more than I thought! Cheers!

Lol, maybe just type in 65 instead of 44. If their links are up to date of course,

Google reveals nothing about batch 65. Nor does epics website

Replacing a batch number in the direct epic url for another batch results in a page not found msg on my iPad. Perhaps we'll never know! How does 65 taste to the person who has it?

I get hits on batch 55 too, I'm guessing 65 isn't loaded yet.

Oh, I found some, and I gave it one of my highest ratings ever. It (Batch #56) was just completely glorious. I fully intend on returning for some more.

Glad you found some. I had this batch as well. Delicious and I have one in the cellar. I'll see how much will power I will have to let it sit.

    A few years later.....

The California edition, was this 100% aged in barrels? And how long?

General surgeon warning: I am no longer with epic as of aug. Was an interesting 5 years.

Unless they did something wonky with the blend to add volume, most of those casks were filled in May/June at the telegraph location in Santa Barbara. But I have nothing to do with the 2018 blends anymore.

I’ve seen this question on IG also, are other batches of big bad baptist not 100% BA?

There used to be info on batches, but from what I remember, usually only spent 3 months max in barrels, and only a portion of it was barrel aged.

Looks like they are still updating the website to some degree. I just saw an entry for Quadruple Barrel Baptist. It adds BA almonds.

Also says Baptista and BB will be released along side it and should be on the shelves mid November.

Oh interesting, I do remember it varied a lot batch to batch and some were much more rich chocolate flavor with nice barrel and some were bitter coffee bombs with no barrel. Didn’t know it was ever blended with non BA stuff tho.

I might be mistaken, but I think they were using different coffee roasters between batches.

Either way- everyone I’ve had has been dynamite

These hit MA last week, so I can't imagine you'll be waiting much longer.

found a Baptista on the shelf a year ago or so and bought it to try it. I was underwhelmed.
