    Drinking one of these now and had no idea that we got our own Texas batch this go around. One of the better BA stouts that we get in Texas Imo.

    "Fans of Epic Brewing Co.’s Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout will be excited to know that this year a batch has been made specifically for Texas.

    The beer, which is brewed with cocoa nibs and coffee beans, features North Texas' own Cultivar Coffee, a roaster and espresso bar with locations in Dallas and Denton. Most of the brew (140 out of 150 barrels) were shipped straight to Texas as Batch #55."

    Sick ! Wow so nice, Epic Brewed for Texas ! I still have a few of last years batches !
    Cant wait to try this Batch- #55 W/ Texas coffee roasted beans !

    Love this beer. I know there were some inconsistencies with last year's batch, but every one I got was fantastic. I personally prefer this one fresh. Can't wait to try this TX only batch!

    I agree, love this beer. Thanks for the info on the Texas batch. Can't wait to get mine chilled a bit so I can try it.

    This beer is amazing. Had it at Goodfriend on Saturday and ended up having three. It's takes BBB to another level of deliciousness. I guess I should mention I'm a big fan of Cultivar coffee which is right next door to Goodfriend. Easily top 5 stouts for me especially considering how easy it is to find (ba abraxas being #1). Be sure to look for #55 on the batch label along with cultivar.

    So far I've seen it at heb, specs, whole foods, usual bottle spots. But not sure if you are in Cali or Texas.

    Draft shipped out this week to the usual spots in Clear Lake, Pasadena and Woodlands. Package hit Shell on blackhawk today, specs and the like should receive it next week.

    The coffee aroma and flavor is outstanding, definitely an improvement on an already solid ba coffee stout. Do yourselves a favor and grab a few.

    Thanks for the update on this brotha otherwise I'd completely passed on it this year- locals here in Dallas are suspecting slim kegs of it popping up so be on the lookout down there if ya wanna try it on tap

    I picked it up at Whole Foods today- granted this was on the west side of town, I'm guessing it's already in Dallas. The kegs I admit I'm clueless about
