Anyone planning on goingto this at the Morristown Armory? Brewers list looks fairly decent and they are making some changes to how it will be run this year. I will be volunteering at the Morris Area Society of Homebrewers (MASH) booth, feel free to stop by! (i'll post booth info if/when I find out)

There's a chance. Waiting on family plans for later in the day.

I made the mistake of going to the beer fest at the Armory last winter. After standing in the cold and wind for nearly 2 hours to get into the Armory, I then found the setup to be very disappointing. They had a band playing which was so loud that you had to shout to be heard, even from a few feet away. The line for the bathroom must have been 100 people long. Most beers were in bottles, I was hoping for more draft pours. It was very poorly run and I vowed then that the morons who ran that show would never get another cent from me. I will not be going to this event.

Although you're right from what I've heard, they've addressed basically every one of those issues.

-September, not February (high of 70 tomorrow)
-2 entrances and a separate exit
-Still band playing (not very excited for that)
    -Additional bathrooms

We'll see how it goes, I'm mostly just excited for the food.

I was supposed to go to the one last February but had another function come up. Many of my friends went and said it was a disaster but they are giving it another shot. We are going to the early VIP and hopefully it is much better than last year. I am disappointed that Kane is not attending but looking forward to other local breweries that are listed on the bill.

Made it home with no issues from the early VIP session. Getting in was no problems. Food was really good in the VIP. Beers were OK in the VIP. Hits where the new Game of Thrones, The Ramstein Oktoberfest Dry Hopped, Smoke and a few others. In the regular area, there wasnt too much to right home about. The typical stuff. Tried a few things that I would never buy so that was a bonus. The Cheeese Curds from the truck were fantastic. Overal, nice time but would need a better line-up of beers in order to repeat.

    Yep, everything went smoothly.

Enjoyed the selection to get some ticks in and try out some brews I was always curious to try. Spent a few trips to the Carton table, had a good chat about their mobile canning and future plans.
