    Exponential Hoppiness.

Triple IPA with the most delicate hop flavor/aroma combination I've ever experienced.

I had a taste of Nefarious at BW when I grabbed my Ballast Point bottles. A little boozy, I must say.

On the other hand, I am a delicate flower.

My two cents: Resin certainly does well. Two beers that in my opinion do NOT do this at all: Hopslam and Hoptimum. The Hoptimum I bought this spring was like drinking hoppy bourbon.
Personally though, I'd much rather just drink good DIPA's that are in the 7-8% range (or singles in the 5-6% range). Most of them are better (imo) and then you're not toasted after a pint or two. Shoot, if there was a non-alcoholic beer that tasted like Abner, or Ghandi-Bot, etc.... I'd probably drink a lot of it.

I love IIPA, had it fresh the last two years and thought it was fantastic. Also had a bottle immediately following the NG Berliner Weiss when that was released. Talk about a contrast in styles, the boozy alcohol heat combined with the strong pine oil taste almost simulated smoking a bowl, give it a try.

    Folks love a DIPA thread.

    Double Trouble
    Hopslam
    Dreadnaught

I wish I had gotten my hands on more than a four pack of Alchemy Hour because it might have been one of the best "finds" of 2013

that said, fresh double trouble does a good job. probably others i could think of if i weren't so obsessed with double trouble recently.

honestly, i find DIPAs almost always hide their booze ... there's so much freaking hops in them, nothing else stands a chance to show through.

here in texas, karbach's rodeo clown and saint arnold's endeavour taste like beer, not alcohol. deep ellum's dreamcrusher is a hops salad with hops dressing -- no alcohol.

it might be me and it definitely could be my limited run through the good beers (still no DFH 120), but DIPAs in general don't have half the boozy taste of every American imperial stout and porter that i've tried.

First beer I thought of when I read the OP. DFH hides the booze well in most of their beers.

+1 for alchemy hour. Also not sure if mentioned and not sure if an actual dipa. Sneak undercover investigation from lagunitas. Had a fresh one recently and the hop flavors completely covered the 9.7%. Dangerously drinkable.
