With the Big Tap In 2 weeks out, would anyone like to shed some light on past events? I have been to quite a few big and small beer festivals (Great Taste of the Midwest, Great American beer Fest., Zoo Brews,etc.) but this year will by my first Big Tap in.
Last year was a cluster F because they moved to a different venue that was way to small for the amount of people there. This year they moved it back to the original place, which had a lot more room.
I went for the first time last year, and as the previous post states, it was crowded. Quite a few of the beers got kicked early, but I guess you have that at most festivals. So once they release their official beer list a few days before, I would go to the ones you really want to try during the first half of the festival. There is a lot of things to sample that I don't get here in Pittsburgh, so for that reason, it is worth the trip.
I have a couple of buds that have went to the last 2 or 3 and liked all those attended, but last year, when it was moved. I got the VIP tickets, so I will be getting my fill of food & brews, I am hoping.
