Big Texas Beer Fest 2014 - VIP Info

Website looks like 4/5 actually even though the ticket part says 4/4, I can't imagine they'd schedule it during the afternoon on a Friday. Looking at last year's "special" beers I'll probably skip driving up from Austin.

 

Im driving up from Austin solely to get some DFW beer we don't get in Austin. I don't require VIP or any other reason...

 

I'm curious as to if Jester King will be there this year again.....

 

We do just fine down here with the Greenhouse series from H&G and ABW. Not to mention the brewery releases from JK. I am not struggling too much.

 

We will let you and Houston have the little sibling fight among yourselves.

 

I still haven't even tried Peticolas yet. I need to cure that right away.

 

So w VIP is it unlimited drinking for that hour or do you also get a 12-2 oz punch card?

 

It is still the 12 sample cards, but you can purchase more once inside for $2

 

gotcha, so basically you get a chance to taste some of the more rare beers before they run out.

 

Our list gets better every year. Year 1 to year 2 was night and day. This year should be that much better. I'm hoping you regret that decision, because that would mean we have an awesome list

From what I've seen submitted already this year, I think even most beer nerds are going to have a hard time deciding which beers to go to first, because brewers are really stepping it up this year. One local brewer alone has already committed to 3 one-off casks, so I think you're all in for a great festival.

Four weeks and counting as of tomorrow! Hope to see some folks out at Untapped tomorrow, my favorite festival that I don't have to work at

Sounds like some Lakewood cask goodness...or maybe Peticolas. I would love some more of that Raspberry Wintervention, so goods. I think our group is up to about 15 people going Chad, with well over half going VIP. Can't wait to see that beer list!

 

Got my VIP, but looking for one GA ticket. Was going to buy yesterday, but thought I would wait another day just to be sure the person was able to make it...

 

I may have one extra but I likely won't know til tomorrow....
