If it's around the price of Bible Belt or Bomb!, I'd pass on this one.

 

It's been s while since I ate at Mel's. I wonder if the explosion of craft beer has made it across Timberlane Rd .

 

How much is Bomb & Bible Belt going for over there?

 

Last time I was there a few months ago they still had the same shitty beer selection...but that's ok because I go to Mel's for the spicy crab legs, they do at least have a full bar. I guess I'll be heading down to Eldo this weekend...so don't buy up all the good stuff before I get there.

Bible Belt - $32 4/pk

 

A little higher than OK, not much. Considering how much you pay for an Evil Twin Bomber I don't consider it outrageous. I don't consider them bargains either. Makes Bells Expedition Stout & Mother's MILF seem like the deals they are...

 

Well they were out of Bomb and Bible Belt by the time I got there, but said I was like the third person asking about em, so they will probably order more. They did have a very good selection of Evil Twin though, so I'll be going back soon.

 

That Core Toasted Ale (Brown) is damn tasty, one of my favorites from these guys!

 

Saw a big Chunk of Bomb, Bible Belt & Wine Barrel Noir at Liquor World in F'ville today. The 4 pack pricing may be off putting for many. Also saw fresh marshall arrowhead PA, well worth picking up IMHO...
