Had it on tap at Groveland last week. I thought the body was adequate for a brown ale, but not much coffee flavor. Right now, I would put it behind Redband (no-sour), Coffee Bender, Tyranena TDMDI, and recent FBS if looking for a coffee beer.

Edit: Whoops, just checked and saw it's actually a stout.

Sorry to go off topic here, but What is this shit about Breakfast being sold in six packs?

A Founders rep told me that FBS will be in 6 packs next year with the same MSRP. NICE!!!

Per earlier posts sounds like they are already out in 6pk form, although I havent seen them yet. The nice savings of this are being evened out by Founders releasing Reds Rye in 4 pks, but keeping the price is the same. Im fine w/ that.

Unfortunatly, the last two cans from my Redband four pack were sour/metallic. Not as bad as some I had that were drainpours, but off flavors certainly were present. I cant imagine more people arent experiencing this issue, but the reviews dont seem to indicate it.

This guy really needs a quality coffee brew for an affordable price. Redband was the answer. Breakfast Stout would be now that its in six packs, but I never saw it in that format, and its seasonal run is over now. Oscura is quite good, but sometimes I want somthing with a little more robust malt bill.

I did see Morning Wood for 9.99 at Cellars, but I still think that is priced to high.
