Straight from their Facebook: On Tuesday evening the White Bear City Council unanimously voted to approve the taproom law and granted us our license to set up shop. So it's official Big Wood Brewery will begin construction on our new brewery and taproom on August 1st. We expect to officially open the taproom sometime around the New Year.

Thanks to everyone for their support and we can't wait to share a pint with y'all! ~ Cheers

    Great News!

Good news. wish they didnt have to contract out for the cans though. The space they chose in WBL is not large.

No idea. Surprised you don't know or have some sort of rumor about them.

Rumor has it... they are programming solar powered robots to run the brewery at night.. trouble is they should've thought about solar and night when they installed the panels and the brewery would have to be outdoors.. update: Big wood is using Lunar panels and installing sky lights throughout for ultra-robo-beer-production..
ah wasn't funny sry., super fail on my part.

They should have put in the old Johnson Boatworks, and had it on tap at Tally's.
