Came across a store with Bigfoot 4 packs from each year today, less than $10 each. I am new to this, just really getting into cellaring and wondering if its worth buying them? Is this common to see for this beer? Will these all hold up for this long? Thanks!

That's a good find. Beside the current years I have only found 1-2 singles at a time. I'd buy them

Would definitely do this. We did 12-15 last New Years Eve.

Thought it might be more common with the amount they had, sounds like a good addition. Looks like I will be making a stop tomorrow. Thanks

Just did a vert of Bigfoot, '14-'16, and it was amazing. Every year older got better and better

I would say if it's a store you deem to be legit (as in you're sure they kept the bottles in proper cellaring conditions) go ahead and buy. I personally think that after the 4-year mark is when Bigfoot starts to show signs of unpleasant oxidation and that, IMO, the 2-3 year mark is the sweet spot. That's my experience after I had a 5 year vertical that my friend had stored in somewhat what proper cellar conditions (his closet in NC). By the 5th one down, it was far too oxidized for my liking. What's funny though is that my other friend who works for SN bought a 6-pack vertical from the SN gift shop, we went through all of them in one sitting and, while each one was certainly different, not a single one of them showed the slightest bit of oxidation. No idea why that was, so YMMV.

I do trust it's a good store, one of the best I know of in the area. Haven't tried any except the 13 and it was great! Can't wait to do a vert!

Yes, Bigfoot holds up well. My only concern is that the beer has been sitting on a shelf (in the light) for several years. But for the price, it's probably worth it to take a chance.

I'm the odd man out here, but we did a '12-'15 last year and hated all of them. Take this with a grain of salt seeing as how I don't like Bigfoot as a beer to begin with. Give it a go, it's $10... Never know until you try it

I would buy a four pack or two of each year and start a verticle.
