Bike MS Mt. Vernon

    I will be coming in Thursday for the bike ride on Saturday and Sunday. Anywhere in the Mt. Vernon area I have to hit up?

    I have some friends that have chimed in about Seattle, but wondering about a lil further north where I will be staying.

    In MV,Skagit River Brewery is worth a stop. Also, The Porter House bar always has a nice tap list and some of my favorite bar food (get a bowl of clam chowder and a Black and Blue burger). The Trumpeter Ale house is a bit more upscale, but has solid tap choices. The TrainWreck in Burlington (one town north of MV, on the other side of the river) has good tap selections and food as well.
