Traveling to Billings in a couple weeks and am looking for advice for breweries to go to. Would like to get a couple of Montana's best beers while in town. Also would like to go to a store to get a couple of bottles to take home with me if possible to get to a store while there. Any suggestions for must try beers or must visit breweries? Thanks.
Go to uberbrew and carters. Their basically right across the street from eachother. Uberbrew won the alpha king challenge and best imperial IPA at gabf this year. Distro sucks in MT. Montana brewing company is solid as well. Billings sucks though.
Carters is IMO handsdown the best brewery in Billings... At least when I was there last July. Uberbrew is pretty solid too.
Überbrew just won small brewery of the year at GABF. Recently they brewed Humulus Insani again that won gold for double IPA and should be on tap soon. Phenomenal beer and people there I highly recommend swinging by. Great food as well I always get the Firebird Ahi Tuna sandwich which they cook properly. Bacon and eggs are a must too.
