This just landed in Boston for the first time from queens - a really good beer that is worth at least a single purchase. I'm enjoying a bomber right now and wish I would have picked up two.

Kind of like lunch in that it packs a ton of nuance into a lighter feeling body. Tons of tropical and citrus fruit flavor without much of any bitterness. It drinks really easy - maybe a little too easy.

I hope this continues to come our way - could easily make my rotation, although the big bottle format would limit how often I would keep it in the fridge.

Wow. I'm surprised to see Singlecut expanding into New England already. If you ever spot bottles of their Mo Shuggie Soulbender, don't hesitate to purchase a few.

    Agreed,

Half Stack and Mo Shuggie Soulbender impressed the hell outta me.

I'd love to see them in CT.

The Half Stack really got my attention. Then last week my local got Full Stack. Great beer! They say they're going to expand distro to upstate(Albany) soon....

    Awesome news!

Btw, I stopped by the brewery over the winter and it's a really cool place to chill, sample some of their great beers, and listen to whatever vinyl the staff has thrown on the record player. They serve food and usually have bottles to go as well, and there is plenty of parking at the grocery store across the street.

I'd definitely suggest checking them out if you're ever near Queens with some time to spare.

If you see Bon Bon 2xTNT IPA, get it without hesitation. So, so good.

I've liked all their IPAs that I have had ... coming to CT would be a nice treat, if true.

Really liked Half Stack. Bought one bottle to try and went back the next day to buy a bunch more. Nice seeing a good beer that isn't completely overpriced. I think I paid 5.99 a bottle or so. Is Full Stack in the Boston area as well, didn't see it.

Found it at Kappy's in Medford (the 16/28 intersection) just sitting on the shelf. Tried it. Really enjoyed it.

This is coming into Massachusetts the same way Proclamation Ale Company in Rhode Island is: Craft Collective. I posted a while back on Beer Advocate about them, but they're allowing smaller brewers or those without MA distribution channels to break into the market in limited runs -- or so it seems.

I was lucky enough to get extra'd bon bon and half stack in a trade recently. Both were absolutely amazing and far better than Lunch IMO. Wish I could get this stuff in NH. BTW, how much did you pay for a bottle?

6.50 was the going rate at my shop in Boston. Picked up two more since this initial post - really good stuff. I'll have to be sure to keep an eye out for their other brews mentioned on this thread.

Bottles are $6 or $7 at the brewery IIRC.
