I'm contemplating being out there for Black Friday; has anyone been to this particular Binny's for a BCS release before? Is there any point? I know allocations will be much slimmer, but I've never been outside the Chicago Binny's for this sort of thing, so I have no perspective on what the release will look like.
I go there every year. There's always a large crowd and slim pickings if youre not there Early. Last year I was 9th in line and got shut out of regal, rare and prop..ended up with 1 coffee, one barley wine and 2 regs....Allocations are much smaller and the beer manager holds for regulars/ employees...making the allotment even smaller. It is usually a low key event. After getting there at 1am last year and getting shut out of variants I swore I'd never go back but I'm down the road so I may end up back there again.
