Hey everyone, the GF is making a trip home to the burbs today and I was wondering if anyone knew if this Binnys had some harder to find beers right now that I should make a request for? I find that the different Binnys carry slightly diff stock and havent been to the Algonquin location in quite awhile. Thanks in advance! Cheers.
Probably not an answer that will help, but I've been there a few times, mostly striking out with what I specifically wanted. And rather than be that guy who just walks right back out the door, I browsed the aisles and did find some beers that I couldn't otherwise get. It depends on what you think of as harder to find. My "harder to find" tend to be Belgians. They had been there a while, but probably more for the reason that it is still a newer area out there, and not that it is a hidden gem. I went to the Binny's in Orland one time and felt like I was from the future. The same might be said for this place. Worth a shot going anyway, if it isn't too far off your route.
