    Birmingham, AL - specifically Aloft area
    I'll be flying in for the weekend any suggestions? Any bottled beer recommendations worth checking a bag for?

    Love Homewood and SoHo. Try the pizza and brews at Dave's. A two minute walk. The XYZ bar at Aloft usually has one or two local brews on tap. The Whole Foods Market on 280 is about 10 minutes away by car. They have a terrific bottle selection. Have fun.

    Hop City is about a 5 minute drive via the Red Mtn Expressway, it is a must stop

    I made an awesome early afternoon to late afternoon of hitting up Good People, Trim Tab, Cahaba and Avondale. Really a fun day with each brewery about 5-10 minutes from each other.
