Birthday Beer

I usually crack open a beer that I've been cellaring for a year or more...I've got several months to figure out what this years will be

 

DB Huna if I could get it. Because I can't (or at least haven't yet), I settle for regular Huna. Haven't found a beer I like better. BCBCS is pretty close though.

 

Guess I'll have to decide today. Maybe Rye-on-Rye or BBQ.

 

You my friend know the deal... Last year I sat atop Mt. Snow and Cracked A couple Heady Topper (as seen in my avatar)This year I have a St. Lam planned which I've been hunting since then. Finally snatched it.

 

My birthday was last weekend. I (very much) enjoyed my 2012 Lawson's Finest Bourbon Barrel Maple Fayston Imperial Stout.

I have almost the entirety of a year to plan my next one. Is it in my basement already (looking at you Our Finest Regards) or something cool that I don't even know about yet. Tree House Barleywine, anyone?

 

Last year on my 30th birthday I drank a BB9K and a King Henry. If I could choose any beer to drink for birthdays, it would be BB9K.

Tomorrow is my 31st and I plan on cracking my Murda'd Out Stout...and a few others.

 

Last year I was at the Southern Tier tasting room on my birthday.

Generally speaking, my birthday is conveniently within the prime drinking window of GLBC Chillwave.

 

Ayinger Celebrator. I'm and Aries and it has a little ram token attached to it plus look at the name... it was pretty much made for my birthday.

 

That's a good question! I'm not sure what I'll do this year. Definitely have to pull something cool from the cellar.

 

This past birthday I drank a black Tuesday from the previous year. The reason is because they released it on my birthday 10/29, which also happens to be black Tuesday back in 1929

 

Had a Barrel Aged Narwhal for my birthday a few weeks ago. Good stuff.

 

Would have to be Heady - haven't had the opportunity yet and having it on my B-day would make it extra special. My birthday is in July if anyone wants to help out make this years' better than ever!!

 

Looks like my 60th birthday will fall on a Tuesday this year, so it'll have to be a school night beer (or two). September quite a way off to plan exactly what it'll be.

 

Hoppy January Birthdays, My birthday's next week Thursday... My choice is a Ale Smith Vietnamese Speedway and a 1 year old Homebrew RIS - Vanilla, Cold Brew, Cacao nib Monstracity! Cheers

 

Attempted to solo drink a bomber of Speedway Stout on my birthday last year. I passed out and woke up to a fruit fly in my glass

 

Have a eclipse 18yr rum barrel saved for mine in February.

 

My birthday is on July,so a nice wheat, maybe Penn or Franzi

 

I'll be in Waterbury on my birthday...I'm guessing I'll have some decent choices

There may be more than one involved.

 

My first bottles of BCBS and Backyard Rye that "Develops in the bottle for up to 5 years" will be about 5 years old on my 30th birthday, so I'm thinking that will be cool if I can hold off that long.
