Havent been to Giulia but B&G is good and a nice intimate experience. How hard do you ball? Best sushi (and best single bite of food I have ever had) is at O Ya, also near South Station. It will certainly set you back a pretty penny but I did it for my birthday once.

I try to check out the best restaurants suggested by locals when I visit different cities (and breweries also obviously) but when it comes to sushi I can't tell the difference between good sushi and bad sushi so I don't even bother with the top sushi places. lol

O Ya is one of the few michelin star worthy places in Boston. Just describing it as a sushi restaurant is like going to Giulia and asking for an Italian sub with hots.

For anyone in Boston, NEBCO is at Stoddards with G Bot, Fuzzy Baby Ducks, Doublr Fuzzy, and 668...

That's a weird analogy but the dude above you said "the best sushi" at O Ya. Never said anything about the menu. Lol

Sure which is why I brought it up because the term 'sushi restaurant' creates a mediocre expectation in my head. You could go there and eat no fish at all or binge on foie gras gyoza

    Thanks for the suggestion!
