Looking for some intel on weekday sales of Substance at Bissell Bros. I will be in Scarborough tomorrow and Im hoping to sneak out of work during the day. The problem is that I may not be able to do so until mid/late afternoon. I was there a few times during the week this summer and Substance would sell out fast. Can anyone provide insight on how quickly Substance sells out now that the Maine tourist season is over? Does it still sell out every day? Cheers!
I was there on Friday in mid October, and they had plenty left at 3:30ish. Limited to 1 case per customer (I had heard they were limiting to one 4 pack per customer in late summer). So, I would guess you would be in good shape on a Wednesday. (it was my first/only time at the brewery, so my data point my be useless). Good luck!
thursday night I got one four pack. allagash still had tons of ghoulship at that point too. not sure about now.
When I was there Saturday morning Allagash had maybe 100-150 bottles of Ghoulschip left. I'd say its maybe 50/50 if there is still any.
I'll be stopping by around noon to check out the three breweries at 1 industrial park. I'll try to give a report. I was already able to pick up new Foundation releases at Tully's yesterday. Good stuff.
Not sure why they decided to change to a two 4-pack limit of Swish instead of three. They had plenty to cover the crowd there. Likely worked out even better for those there as you could easily go in again for another couple 4-packs, thus yielding 4 total instead of three....and the Epiphany was a nice bonus!
What are Sat like at BB. I see Reciprocal is being released this week. Will any be left Sat. How early do you have to arrive for Sat cans?
I would say showing up a 30-45 before hand you should get some. I was there 25 mins early on a Friday release of Reciprocal this summer and I was good. By the time they opened the doors the line ran beyond the foundation storefront.
