Thanks for the tip man, we're here now and still plenty of substance. And swish is really really good.

Looks like the wife and girl have some plans now Saturday AM which has free'd up my am. I think I'm going to head up for the Swish release.

It will be interesting to see how windy and cold it turns out to be. I'm planning to be there probably a good 2 1/2 hours before open. Though the hard part now is if they are consistently opening early how do you judge what's early ha.

I'm not sure what to expect for parking but it sounds like they direct you a bit? Parking has been fairly easy other times I have gone.

Would be nice to meet some BA's so say I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled.

To add...I am curious to see if the last release madness was just due to Thanksgiving being the next day. I'm hoping that the arctic temps and the fact there is no major holiday(for a few weeks) helps things out. But this might be the trip everyone takes to stock up. Who the hell knows. All I know is I was in line waiting for the pissers at the Grain surfboards party over the summer and was chatting with one of the owners. I was surprised how humble of a dude he was and hearing his perspective on what Swish has become was kinda cool and not exactly what you would expect. We both had to piss like mother fuc$ers and the line was brutal which made our conversation even funnier. Take all this success and good fortune while you can get it. No complaints from me. Just gotta get creative to get it.

I was there for the beginning of november swish release a little before 8 and there were probably 100 people there already? I'd say by 830 line may have been long enough that you were not guaranteed.

Extremely cold weather and W winds, realistically, should thin the herd a bit. But you never know.

got there at 9:15 for the 10 open. Probably 200 people in line ahead of me in the front and I'm not sure how many in back. Either way I knew I would get my allotment since they had enough for 550 people getting 3-4 packs. They move the line really quickly which is awesome to see, I had my beer by 10:45 and waited about 20 minutes to get some pint glasses. The line was nearing the end and there was still some beer available. Some people I saw getting back in line after going to there cars, I just got another 4 pack to make a full case with the 2 substance 4 packs. I think the cold weather made it a decent line. I also hit up MBC and Foundation after. Great Maine beer day!

So easy, sat in my chair at 8:15 in the sun. Got in and purchased in 17 minutes after open. Hung out and watched the line end and jumped in to get more and the pours opened at the same time. Shocked how many people left right away. Easy

What time is the Swish release on 12/23? My Father in Law suggested going and I wasn't sure what time the release begins and then how early we'd need to go to be guaranteed beer. I'm assuming we'd need to go very early. Opinions?

If it runs as the last couple have, it will be cans only from 10-12, I believe (I'm someone will correct me if I'm wrong). Then tap room opens fully at noon. I know it has been very busy and they've sold out quickly the last couple, but I would think getting there at 8 would put you in pretty good position, likely in the first few hundred people.

Last release was really cold, so the initial line of a few hundred did not sell out right away. To the point that when everyone flooded in and immediately took off for other things the few of us to sat inside and waited for the line to end and jumped back in line to get more. They made the All Sales call about 11:15 ish or so.

I would expect that this release being before the holiday and also a lot warmer might bring a bigger crowd. We purposely got there at 8:15 and had just over 100 people in front of us. The 8AM time frame should be safe.

Good luck and bring chairs to sit back and relax in.

Thanks for the info! Not sure I can/want to pull off an 8am arrival. I like Swish, but I also value my time/rest since we'd need to leave my inlaws house by 7:15 to do this. We went an hour early on Black Friday, but that meant an 11am arrival. Don't think my FiL realizes what a Swish release is like. It would be nice to have fresh Swish for the Pats game on Christmas Eve though!

I have never regretted waiting in line for great beer plus it's some bonding time with your family in law

Checks past Insta posts and it looks like the last two have been a half case limit on Swish.

What was the price for Swish, Reciprocal, and Angels with Filthy Souls?

What's the brewery like on Non-Swish Saturdays? Easy enough to show up w/o waiting in line and get cans quickly?

Yeah, that was the case the day I went. They had Umbra and Substance. Got there around 12:30 and had our cans and a pour within ten minutes or so.

Anyone have any ideas on how lines have been for most recent Reciprocal releases? Trying to get some tomorrow and don't want to leave too late with potential holiday crowds.
