I like that you caught my question before I deleted it. I ended up seeing the same thing on IG and felt like a lazy POS for not looking it up before asking here. Thanks for the help!

Did they announce what the recipe for Sigil IV is yet? Also anywhere I can find swish around town on tap? Coming up Friday. Thanks

Seed and Sigil on the same day (plus leftover Swish) has to make it one of the better release days BBB has seen.

    Wow, timing couldn't be worse.

Have plans to got to HFS for CD23 and Table Dorothy this Saturday.

Oh well, can't get them all.

Was really looking forward to bottled seed this year. Will have to work some magic and score one in a trade.

Hey guys, I'll actually be in the area of the Three Rivers location this weekend. Some quick questions, do you think they will still have bottles, is the brewery accessible by ITS or nearby snowmobile?

3 Rivers has just under 250 750ml bottles and 10 mags according to the post.

Ive never been to Milo, but I heard its only accessible by pack mule.

Haven’t been to Maine in a while, any insight when I need to show up in Portland tomorrow to not miss out on Seed?

Weather is gonna suuuck! I think you will be ok well into the afternoon because of it. I'd just aim to be there at open. Chances are Bissell will let everyone wait inside outta the cold and snow. Drive careful.

I haven’t been to a Bissell release in a while, but I’ve never seen them let the line wait inside before. They’ll let you go to the bathroom, but doors have always opened promptly at the open time whether it’s 11 or noon

Early Feb Swish and 2nd Whim this year (3rd overall) they let us wait inside. Those were the last 2 I went to both had short lines.

They have been slower this winter, I think its an all or nothing thing tho. I was at Swish opening release and it was freezing, but with 400 people in line we had to wait outside. But if it bad weather, and they can get all the people in, last 2 times I went they have.

Anyone try Sigil 4 yet? Cracked my first one and it is SUPER boozy. It almost tasted more like bourbon than actual beer. Stoked to have tried Seed on draft though. That was fantastic.

Sigil 4 is very boozy. Definitely taste the bourbon barrel. I nursed mine and I got more coconut as it warmed. But still has a lot of heat for 10.8

Group Therapy looks right up my alley.

I was thinking about going up to Portland for Coolship Balaton by itself.

With this dropping same day, 44 degrees. I think its time to put thought into action. Throw in a trip to Slab and I don't think I could plan a better day.

Thinking of driving up from RI for the Swish release Saturday. I've been to BBB but never for a can release. What can I expect as far as time in line, and what time should I be there to get some? Is this one of those deals where if you don't line up before opening, you won't get any? Or could I go a little later?

How was the OG Substance recipe, anyone try it?

Its the season closer. They open at 10:00 a.m. for it. I plan on being in line around 8:45 - 9:00 a.m.

I expect it to be packed, but they burn through the opening lines pretty quick. Pours will not begin until the line is through, 4 to 6 tellers. I am hoping for case limits which is usually the default, but if its overly crowded they will count the line 15 minutes before open and adjust allotments down from 6 4pks to whatever they have / divided by the line count so get in line at latest 15 minutes prior to open would be my advice. I expect the wait to be around an hour, if you want pours get there later or you will be waiting around for those too.

I have not tried Sub OG, but if I can get my hands on it while i'm up there i will definitely give it a go.
