I tried Swish for the first time from the most recent batch a week or two ago and was somewhat let down. I didn't get a lot of tropical fruits and it was pretty thin. Is this what the beer normally is or is this batch off? I know this beer has gotten rave reviews since they've brewed it but I don't get all the hype.

The most recent batch was released on Saturday. I got some cans and can report back once I drink some of them.

Just saw the spring release schedule. I didnt recognize "lucent" (5/7). Is this new or a recurring summer option?

Grabbed a 4pk on saturday. Drank it. Was grand. Really nice. I might buy another 4 pk next year.

Yep, had my first one tonight. Saturday’s batch (canned 4/17 I think) is tasting very nice. Not over the top hoppy. Very smooth and balanced. Definitely not disappointed.

Is Lux consistent? Love that beer but don’t get it frequently. Looks like I missed a release last week.

It seems like they've been releasing it monthly. It's one of my favorites from them and see it often at my local shop.

Poor phrasing on my part. Are the batches consistent, hop quality/taste wise? Not frequency of releases.

I think so. If anything they've gotten better over time. I think I'm in the minority but I really enjoy their pale ales (Lux, Engram) more than a lot of their double IPA's.

So I was a bit disappointed by the latest Nothing Gold. Slight hop burn on that one.

That being said, Had Nuclear Whim for the first time and it is killer, smooth as hell and easily one of my favorites from them. Lucent was a very pleasant surprise as well, solid as Helles.

Grabbed a can of the newest batch of Nuclear Whim at my local store and I still get this odd earthy/smokiness in the aroma/flavor. I'm assuming its coming from the South African hops since I've only ever had it in different batches of this beer. Not my favorite. I loved the last batch of Engram I had though.

Been digging into some HTFGATT recently; absolutely great, one of the best beers I've had from Bissell in a long time - is it just me, this seems under-appreciated?

The latest batch of Nothing Gold is on fire. Super smooth/abv almost nonexistant. Whatever they tweaked, keep it up.

I'm driving through Portland this week and may stop in at Bissell. Is there any way to tell what they currently have available? I can only find the schedule of releases.

Checked out a Whole Foods in Brooklyn yesterday, was shocked to see 4 packs of Substance. Has anyone heard about distro outside of ME?

I’ve seen them in Brooklyn, too (not at WFs).

I saw and picked up a single of Baby Genius at Westside Market on Saturday, they also had Subby. I too, was surprised to see cans of BB available.
