They usually do about 500 cases of Swish per release.

I wonder what the case count was today. That is crazy. I went to the opener and it was 500 cases, on a Saturday no less, case limit, and they had 11 left for Sunday and dropped it to 2 4pks pp.

That batch was absolute fire tho, so maybe people jumped.

I am thinking this was a smaller batch. That’s why I said its all about the batch size. Saturdays seem to be the bigger batches.

200 cases yesterday...we were just getting into town for a beer weekend and wanted to grab swish but got there a little after 2 and it had sold out already. He said it was only 200 cases yesterday and they didn't anticipate the huge crowd at opening.

Damn yeah we are about to leave for Portland now. I was so bummed to see Swish sell out yesterday afternoon. Seems like a lot of DDH Sunny though. Excited to try that for the first time!

How long have releases been sticking around these days?

Will be up for AWFS (12/21) and wondering if Reciprocal (12/17) might still be available

    Thanks

Reciprocal sees distro up there Dave, you can likely find it at Craft Bier Cellar (not the toxic chain) in Portland if its gone from the brewery. I'd say 50/50 it will last the 4 days at the brewery, because half the batch will be sent to the local craft shops. But it will definitely be in the area. CBC Portland being the best shot, you can also buy online and pick it up in the shop.

Spruce Creek Provisions in Kittery gets these drops as well, they are right off exit 3 after the Piscataqua bridge. Right on route 1, not a bad side track, literally a minute off 95. Easy to jump off and back on. But you may be driving past it before it opens.

The City in Sanford gets it as well, but it a bit off the beaten path, But I will be staying in Sanford for the weekend at a friends house. I can take a look when I get up there on Friday. I plan on stopping in for as much '19 BCBS as they will sell me (was limited to 2 per person black friday) when I went up for Seed. But best price for that @11.99 per that I have seen anywhere.

FYI - it’s just the Bier Cellar. Only nitpicking to avoid any confusion with the aforementioned shitty franchise run by delusional beer soldiers.

Just tried Precious Fragments. Very flavorful but very ugly in the glass. Turbid brown in color, completely opaque. Nice pine hop flavor and aroma though. They were still canning it when I stopped in at about 2 pm today, so maybe some cans in the batch won’t pour as visually unappealing.

Description-wise Fragments sounds good but I saw pictures and it reminded me of Trillium's second batch of Deciduous which is still the least visually appealing beer I've seen. So I passed. Plus, if I want a hoppy amber IPA, I have a case of Celebration.

That being said, the lady and I did a random day trip to Portland Saturday since it was so nice out. First stop is always Bissell cuz the convenience. We got in at 2:30 so I was worried swish would be gone. Place was absolutely packed so I was additionally worried.

But, line was short. Plenty of beer left. Got 3 4pks of swish and 1 of subby. Also got a 12oz pour of their pilsner. Wasn't incredible but quite tasty. Vibe in the place was great.

Had my first swish ever tonight and it's a damn fine brew. 2-3 years ago I'd prob flip my shit for it, but even today I'm enjoying it over most hazy IPAs. Fair bit of bitterness which I need these days.

Also had a reciprocal at novas res later and it was great as always.

Bissell seems to be doing things right.
