Headed to Bissell this weekend for the first time. I know that Swish this past weekend sold out in 2 hours. I also saw they're doing their first DDH Subby (perfect timing for me).

On Saturdays for big releases, how long are the lines? What time should I get there and usually how long do you wait?

Please only real responses and no "I'm already on line" responses. I'm really just curious and want to plan accordingly to get the beer but still enjoy my vacation... and by enjoy vacation I mean drink at Bissell and other breweries the rest of that day haha

I was up this weekend and was lucky enough to get Swish with only about a 5 minute wait in line. Showed up around 12:30. I was also there the day before and they had Nothing Gold with little wait also. Not sure how typical that is but it was pretty hassle free in my case.

Lines haven't been nearly as bad as they used to be. Swish did sell out after 3 hours, but they were selling it at a case PP which is twice their normal limits of 3 4-pack PP. Recently Swish and Nothing Gold had been carrying over for days. So if they have case limits on DDH Subby, it might go fast. But I don't see DDH Subby bringing in the same amount of people as Swish.

If time is not an issue, get there around 9:30, mingle in line and you'll be guaranteed to get beer. But you'll have to wait a little before they start doing pours.

If you want to minimize wait but bring in the slight chance of getting shut out, show up between 11:00 and noon. I showed up Saturday for Swish at 11:30 and there was a short line and they started doing pours right as I left.

Was there with my buddy Saturday and go there about 10 minutes past 9. He wanted to go early and I had no problem with it. We waited the 50 minutes in line and were in relatively quick. There was around 450 people in line at open and it dissipated pretty quick to the point that if you just show up around 11:30 you can just walk in, get your case and pours had started.

    Thanks everyone!

Have they been doing case limits on everything? And things like DDH Subby and HTFGATT... are those $17 each?

Damn, I'm gone for a matter of months and non-Substance Bissell is sitting on the shelves at RSVP along with case limits at the brewery. Giddyup

The case limits just started recently so there's a chance that's the norm going forward. HTFGATT is $17. No idea what DDH Subby will be. Regular Subby is $13.

Was there in the afternoon a couple Saturdays ago with Nothing Gold having been released and during my half hour there drinking a beer you could have waited anywhere from like 10 minutes in line to no line at all.
