Apparently criticism is now the same as abusiveness, trolling, and threatening. So I guess I'll try complimenting a beer I drank last night and give you all my feedback that way. The bottle of Bitches Brew I drank last night was SOOOOOOOOO Gooooooooood. It didn't taste like dirt at all. If anyone was wondering whether or not they should drop the $15 on a bottle of this, I hope your sarcasm detector is working. I hope this is seen as helpful. I'm not trying to bash or troll. I'm just commenting on a beer, which I'm pretty sure is the point of this community. Not everything is rainbows and gumdrops all the time.
I know just what you mean. A place I went to on Friday had both the BB and the BCBS on tap. The BB was vastly superior to the BCBS, and yet oddly, I found myself ordering the BCBS over and over again, despite the incredible yumminess that is BB.... even though the BCBS was the more expensive beer as well. Very, very odd... perhaps I'm masochistic!?!?!
I absolutely love BCBS, Black Note, Uncle Jacobs, etc. However, never heard it compared to Bitches Brew. Some Dogfish beers are a little too quirky for me. You do have my curiosity, maybe I will pickup a bottle this week.
Those are some of my favorite beers as well. Bitches brew is nothing like them. I wouldn't suggest it.
What do you mean? I thought a kick-ass label in and of itself made the beer taste better. Mind is blown.
