Bizarre/Unexpected Aroma or Tasting Notes

See, and I was coming on here to say that all I could taste from that particular Berliner Weiss was Sauerkraut. But maybe I just like the taste of bile/vomit.

 

i didn't experience it but when me and some buddies bought the SA summer pack this year one of my friends first cracked the belgian session ale; after his first drink he immediately said it tasted just like a cold hotdog. we all tasted it and i was the only one who didn't get it. I later wondered if those 3 were just fucking with me...

 

Kind of the opposite of the original question but usually when I enter public restrooms I get that brett funk... and crave a beer.

 

My wife and I were at the New Belgium tap room in Fort Collins; I don't remember which specific beer it was, but we both picked up a roast beef aroma / flavor from one of the brews in our sampler flight.

The nose on Hop Devil always puts me off, smells musty, like an old clothes hamper. The taste is always good, but I hate the smell.
