I know the older the Cantillon the more the value, but I'd appreciate people chiming in with recent trades or what they would see as a good trade based on the batch/vintage.

Seems to be a little different with Blabaer in my experience. The fresher vintages tend to be more valuable. That is unless you have the first batch (but then again, isn't the FIRST in a series always more desireable?)

I think it has to do with the fact that a lot of people that have had this report that its better fresh and the blueberry quality fades kind of quickly.

It seems all vintages trade more or less equally.

I think they trade somewhat evenly, with the exception of the b1/b2.

It seems to trade more on a scale of bottle size than anything else.

Like with most stuff, you'll hear differing opinions among people who have tried different vintages as to which are better based on specific superior vintage or freshness. There was a thread a little while ago that gave a few of those if you care to search for it.

    Regardless of vintage.....

If you're trading out a Blabaer:

Trade it for bulk St. Lamvinus.

If you're looking to get a Blabaer in a trade:

Trade for bulk St. Lamvinus instead.

You'll be much happier that you did.
