Has anyone noticed a big variation between the quality of having the beer on tap vs from the bottle?

The last two times I had black albert on tap it has blown me away. I had it recently in the bottle a couple of times at difference places and it was not even in the same conversation. On tap it's viscous and has a delicious strong coffee and dark chocolate flavors among others that I can't identify. Its really compex whereas from the bottle its thinner and more one dimensional.

Just curious what others think. Cheers

I've had the regular in the bottle but only ever Blackberry Albert on tap. For the bottled BA, the flavor and mouthfeel was great but the aroma was super boozy and unpleasant. Blackberry Albert on tap was magical all the way through. Just my not-so-helpful two cents.

I just think all Belgian and Belgian-style are better in bottles. Since all of them are bottle conditioned. I like to drink my yeast.
