    Hey guys,

I just started a twitter account to chronicle my new quest to find the best black and tans and blends using American microbrews and unique beers. I have a Beers of the World not far from my house, so acquiring the beers is pretty easy, all I need now is good recommendations. I figured this would be the best community to turn to for them.

It might work best if you only contribute a black or a tan and pick the opposite pairing from a post already made in the thread.

Side note, I want blends that haven't been tested. This is a creative and experimental endeavor, not a chance to recreate what has already been done.

    Thanks.

I think it'd be pretty neat to have two side by side where one is black/tan and the other is tan/black.

I see your insane and raise you Utopias + Tactical Nuclear Penguin.

Are you working within any sort of guidelines or criteria, or are you willing to mix any two beers as long as one of them is black and one of them is tan?

The first thing that came to mind was a La Fin Du Monde and Maudite or Trois Pistoles. They are great beers, easy to find, and would be an interesting mixing experiment.
