XXIV was meh when I had one on Saturday. Completely fallen apart. Thin and fairly tasteless. Not much barrel at all.

Been collecting Abyss Since 2009. BA site made me really aware of it, though I had seen it before that. It's a good Imperial Stout, but honestly there are just so many better ones. It's easy to find for months in other areas of the country. For some reason it's remains shelved longer in Colorado - not sure why.

Personally prefer the BB Anniversaries (I haven't popped any XXV yet). Hit our Texas shelves very late, so I bought it while traveling, thinking we might not get any. Then we got a lot of it, and it managed to remain available for a while.

Personally my fave was XXII. Had it a few years back at the Portland pub. Too bad they had to dump it.

I still have a few cases of BBXXIII. #hoardingb4itwuzkewl

The kegs are still around, though Deschutes controls all of them.. I had some at the Denver Rare Beer Tasting (Pints for Prostates). Incredible beer. The logistics of the event cracked me up though: tons of people lined up for (and kicked the kegs of) DFH 120, and I had multiple pours of XXII and Napa County because there were no lines for either. Delicious.

If you make it to Denver during GABF, do not miss the Pints for Prostates tasting. You'll be as happy as I was. Great freaking stuff.

I heard that. I hope they bring a keg out when I go back to Portland in Oct.
